Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research have published an article by Mirea et Al which involves Particle Induced X-ray Emission (PIXE) and Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) analyses of a small hoard of bracelets found in The Vanatori – La Jolica archaeological site.
Silson’s silicon nitride membranes were used for the Particle Induced X-Ray Emission (PIXE) measurements, which were accomplished at IFIN-HH (“Horia Hulubei” National Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering).
